Jw but what ever happend to morgan from the forst episode? The black guy and his kid the found rick after he busted out of the hospital? They jus disappeared and we never heard from em after season one

They said they planning on his return as he does return at a certain point in the comics
 
Damn.... Thats a long time to be gone lol i almost forgot about him till i watched the 1st ep wit the gf. And yes... I hooked her on it lol... Shes seen the recent 2 eps n now im makin her go back and watch ot from the beggining and she keeps askin ?s. I jus say to myself just watch and it will all fall onto place

With the soldiers. I really find it hard to believe that they would not have shot the governor as soon as he cleared leather and shot the first guy. Personally I totally do not believe that is the way it would go down. Sure they would have all died in the end, but not without at least having fired a few shots. There is no way the entire group of them would be so dumbfounded by seeing the first guy get shot.

Rewatch the episode and do a count of the seconds that pass before the crossfire ambush opens up. Those soldiers had their weapons locked and loaded and at the ready. There is no way they would not have returned fire as soon as the governor fired his first shot. The response time would have been instinctive and instantanious.

I agree with Chef 100%. Tactical inaccuracies. Doesn't the Governor also conduct ''Gladiator'' type games of hand to hand combat with an arena ringed with walkers ??
 
One thing I have had a discussion with some people about regarding this tv series is how the virus that has them all infected must surely be affecting the way they are operating as living human beings.

Have wondered if it would not be destroying their ability to process higher thought and be relegating them to baser animalistic thought processes as the virus tries to shut off the higher brain in the living victim. Much like the doctor at the cdc said that the reanimation procedure did to the zombified.

Last thing I will say about the shoot up scene with the soldiers is that provided I was not the first soldier shot, the governor would be a dead man. I was second best shot in my troop(best was a woman) and the second he cleared leather I would have interpreted his action as agression and dropped him. My next move would have been to drop and roll under a vehicle.

Though would kind of destroy the series to have this one of this seasons villans die so fast.

I bet in the governor would have a hella thread to post about the monsters he keeps in his tank.
