daryl did exactly what he should do. what's he gonna do, go up against a small army with a crossbow and a cripple he just met? he's smart, he knows their location, he knows there's nothing he can do at this point. better to go back with reinforcements and come for the rescue with a game plan.
I don't think the writers are exactly taking the easy way. I think it's pretty accurate. in a situation where there's no law, no government, I picture it being pretty much like twd. everyone out there surviving by any means necessary. people scavenging, robbing, killing and mowing random lawns to at least make the apocalypse look as nice as possible

You're missing my point, IN THE CONTEXT THAT SHE WAS STOLEN, it changes the narrative completely. We were discussing a plot in which he sent her in after possibly scoping the place out. Hes not planning $***. Merely reacting to the situation
The entire scene of carol being brought in is significantly less bad ass as we now know its a rescue mission instead of a Trojan horse situation

I remember maybe saying I wonder if carol got herself caught on purpose.
but I doubt that was something I boldly predicted like I did with noah being in the bush. which would make no sense. yea, why leave if you had planned to get carol capture? so since I predicted it was noah in the bush, that should rule out any question that carol was not sent in but was captured/kidnapped
plus when you were saying daryl would not leave them, that had nothing to do with the thought they planned carol's capture. you just said it because you felt daryl would never let that happen again

Been a little busy and taking a slight break from the computer.
I was one to get it wrong on who was in the bushes and that Carol entered the hospital as a victim and not as a plant.
As far as the tents go....anyone notice that Daryl did say something along the lines of 'it's not worthwhile to ask why' when he saw the tents.
Besides the nosedive off the bridge, I also thought it was silly that the closest walker was at the edge of the bridge yet so many of them went that distance to go after them.
