-Lol yeah we had shoulder pads and helmets on.

-And its been hot outside this whole week practice has seemed so long because it was to hot to run. On the last day of the heat we practiced at 7:30 so we wouldn't over due it since it was the hottest day of the week. Felt good but i felt really lazy and out of shape since the air was so thick you could barely breath well.

hahaha, my gf's horse was sweating bad two days ago and she just hacked him, he went from whitish gray to dark gray fast. we gave him a cool bath
oh thats good.. this weather is really hard on them... even the birds are panting here

The weather outside is ... weather.

(bonus points if you know what that's from)

It was a high of 100 here today, with 79% humidity making it feel like 114. *dies* And, to make things worse, we don't have AC. 4 fans are doing a decent job of things, but I'd kill for even one air conditioned room. The cats have been handling it the best, but the dog is not thrilled at all. The mules and donkey don't seem to mind one bit.

WOW i had no idea it got so hot there, thats about.... 40 something, maybe 43 degrees Celsius plus humidity, we get that here but being hot is the norm here and you get used to it but yeah thats hot, most summers here don't get that hot, only rarely.

our summer temps are susualy from 28-35 in the city but out bush its always in the 40s but atleast out there its a dry heat., I went to the ourtback last year and damn it was hot, becouse its dry you don't realize how quick you dehydrate, i drank a tonn.

It's hot..... That is a melting mailbox...

That sucks, last year there was a week that is was like 105 every day and we practice on a turf field, so you basically add 10 more degrees, worst week of practice ever. It felt like I could barely breathe. Good thing we have a shower on the field for days like that, if it wasnt for the shower, i probably would have fainted lol
