Now thats my kinda seam, looks like my tanks now lol :)...dont forget to leave urself some glue for under the top braces, it really helps the upward bowing of the braces when its full

Lol ya they are about 3/4" joints I could have added another couple ounce to it but oh well.. I'm planning to tip and pour every joint including the top. I still have about 2/3rds my gallon left over so I may as well pour every joint before I call her quits lol
 
One of my plans for a massive L or U shaped tank, is to have to separate tanks like yours, butted together, and having a porthole (or huge bulkheads) connecting the tanks where they are butted together. That way they can be taken apart and moved rather easily.

These will be very similar to what your talking about but they will only be connected threw the sump they will still share the same water and appear to be one solid L shape when finished.


I only had time to pour one joint today before work, on the bright side only 4 more joints to go before its done!!! I'm hoping to test fill Saturday if all goes to plan
