I'm sorry Liz, I just found this thread and reading the first post brought a tear to my eyes. I know how much your pacu's meant to you. We all have our favorites, and I would be devistated if something like this happened to any of mine. But on a positive note I am so glad you and your husband are both o.k. and all the rest of your pet's....... I just went and checked my smoke alarm and it still works. I'll be putting a new battery in my girlfriends smoke detector this weekend, and considering adding a few more. I'm glad to hear how much you guys have already got done so far, to bad MFK is such a spread out community, If you were in closer distance and I didn't have to work 7days this week I'd be there to help if you guys needed it.
Your ck will love his bigger tank, and I'm glad to hear your little african is such a trooper. Tell your husband I applaud his dedication, it's the same thing I would have done. I think you guys should just sit down this weekend have a couple drinks, go to a movie, out to eat, whatever you like to do to unwind on a normal weekend, just kind a take a breather from everything and relax a little bit. Hope you guys are feeling a little better by now!!!!!!!

Thats souinds like great advice ..after we are all done i think we will do that!!
