They're all 3 the same fish lol! The top 2 pics are from today and that 3rd picture is from 6 wks ago when I put him on black sand.
Cloe_21, I saw your thread with yours, too. I doubt I'd know a good quality FH if it bit my finger but I just wanted to tell you that personality is what counts in my opinion with these guys. I think it's because they're man-made maybe? I don't know, but they're SO interactive!

cheers hun, well the first page was just ppl bad mouthing them and then all of a sudden loads of ppl were like 'yea they r good, will turn out nice' etc etc.
they r sooo cool though and its almost like they have taken to me straight away (i know that sounds stupid) but they follow me round the room and hand feed from me...they are almost taking place of my frontosa and thats a hard spot to bargain with!!!

It sounds like the kind of personality mine has is very typical then, I love that. I've always said only Oscars have that kind of personality and I was wrong. Some people get so caught up in head size, color and shape with FH's that they forget to tell others what people-personalities these guys have I never even knew until I 'met' my 1st one last summer. It's the best part about them.

lol I suppose it's the same as people/breeders using red lighting to make their FH's look redder than they actually are. Hmmm......I wonder what would happen if I used bright blue substrate......
