There is a lot of training that goes into curling, mostly 16oz curls between rounds.

I'm pretty sure how much money a sport makes is not taken into consideration for keeping a sport. Watch 10 minutes of sochi coverage and you'll see empty arenas

Winter Olympics? Not me. We only watched summer

Summer Olympics are always a bigger deal than the Winter games. Some of the events are reaching as far as being a sport goes. I agre years ago the olympics seemed like a bigger deal than they are now. I think curling is pretty cool to watch but it's on when I'm working and prime time is the same stuff firure skating and ski jumping. When did snowboarding become an olympic event, that's not a sport it somthing that's fun to do like olympic snowmobiling or deer hunting, snowball fighting should be added too.

I love the winter Olympics, alpine down hill,, bob sledding luge figure skating slolem (sp) speed skating, short and long track. new X game type events look interesting also.
