I thought this would be fun to get input. Below are the tanks and stock, copy and paste the tank and what you would put in each tank underneath it. What would you add, remove etc..? I am itching for some new species and seriously considering getting rid of my festae pair.

Tanks (all can handle a serious bioload):
300 gallon (96"x24"x30")
250 gallon (72"x36"x22")
120 gallon (48"x24"x24")
55 gallon (48"x12"x21")
55 gallon (48"x12"x21")

Stock (all are adult breeding pairs but the red hooks and flagtail):
x2 Parachromis dovii pair
x2 Parachromis motaguense pair
x2 exCichlasoma festae pair
x2 Midevil pair
x8 Myleus rubripinnis "Red Hooks"
x1 Semaprochilodus taeniurus "Flagtail / Fei Feng"

What do you guys think belongs where? I would love to add some non-cichlid species and would consider hardy SA's as well but keep in mind my pH is 7.6 please. I'm itching to do a community.

a 300 gallon seems to be quite large for just one breeding pair

As an example, here is how they are today:

300 gallon
x2 Parachromis dovii pair

250 gallon
x2 Parachromis motaguense 'Rio Blanco' pair
x8 Myleus rubripinnis Peruvian "Red Hooks"

120 gallon
x2 Midevil pair

55 gallon
x2 exCichlasoma festae 'Rio Tumbes' pair

55 gallon
Semaprochilodus taeniurus (7" unknown sex)

Interested to see how this plays out, might throw in a try myself.

So what do you think bro who goes where? Give it a shot. Nothing is in the tank will will be in for life, I'm flexible.. I won't get butt hurt have at it. Seriously..

300g - Dovii pair
250g - (Divided) Festae pair and Motaguense pair
120g - Midevil pair

or

300g - Festae pair and Motaguense pair
250g - Dovii pair

Interesting. I tought about moving the dovii to the 250. I can't really divide anything but the 120 and 55's (the reason the festae are in a 55 right now). So you would ditch the red hooks and flagtail?

CA Cichlid kind of guy so unless I could keep them in the 300g with a pair or two, I would pass on them personally. Wouldn't mind see a pic of each of the tanks as they are now. The 300g has a large enough foot print to where you might be able to have two pairs without it being an issue.
