I saw my female turning her colors to breeding dress a few weeks back but she didn’t lay any eggs. So at my next 120 gallon weekly water change I shifted the boulders around. Well that made her feel more comfortable I guess because she laid today and my big boy male did his part. Hopefully they will hatch in a few days.F070A668-751D-4228-B53D-8DDD0E558652.jpeg90395D9B-0361-4DB4-B51C-5ABF09F29B43.jpeg28C211D1-1475-4890-82D0-2040C078E969.jpeg3724FB62-2B7A-4E55-8B26-A583D081FDE5.jpeg Mother and Father are unrelated which makes me very happy to introduce a new bloodline…..

In this world , everybody are cousins or something lol

Well the parents didn’t come from different lfs , or even separate states. They came from different countries. So the way I figure it is the chances of them having any similar family tree is very unlikely.
Moms sister once disowned cousins daughter nephew mothers fathers brother son
Lol it’s a joke I doubt they are related

Hopefully the kids turn out like their father, if not better.

I have raised both the male and female from baby size of .5 inches and 2 inches. Female turned 1 year old in July. Male will be 2 years old in September. So they are young parents. But I agree the Dad is looking great, big and beefy male, that might still be growing. This male is a bruiser. He killed his 7 siblings at my buddy’s house. He ate many of them and came to me with a huge filled gut. I was not happy with him about that as I was supposed to get 8 Carpintis on that order. I only got this male, with his siblings in his gut. Then I got this female in NYC as a green Texas imported from Thailand. I believe she may grow a bit more when she finishes raising her spawn.
