Dabola looks male to me. Koliba is confusing me. My male laps fin is a lot longer than my female but also thicker, this one seems short and thick.. Don't know if length has anything to do with sexing.. Also I've never personally kept endli so I'm not sure there either.
A bit confusing to me too. I had a palmas palmas that was textbook male with the thick anal fin, but these two are just confusing me.
So the endli is a picky little snot. I put in market shrimp and the koliba came out and ate till it was stuffed. The endli did not budge. I thought what gives? It ate so well yesterday... But that was with tilapia. So I drop a little tilapia and it starts hunting for food. It picked out the fish pieces and did not eat any shrimp. Lol, does that make it female?
Also notice it snaps a lot at the koliba. So female? Lol
I decided to put the koliba into the big tank to settle in for a day before the endli. The endli was biting at the koliba as I was doing a water chage so I thought its time to move it. As soon as I drop the koliba into the 300, guess what? The teugelsi bites him on the tail, lol. The koliba has size and weight on the teugelsi so no worries but it was just funny to watch what I thought was one of the more peaceful of my bichir throw its weight around.
