If your new to datnoids, I don't recommend getting small thinbars (2 to 3 inch).

If you done your research(simply
use the search function) you'll see that small ntt have high mortality rate in home aquarium.

If u really must buy thinbar, find one bigger than 5-6 inch, seriously.... It'll have a much better chance of avoiding sudden death syndrome.

They are one if my favourite, I too have lost 2 small thinbars a while ago.

In the market, they don't have any small Indo available anymore

so it force the new datnoid hobbist into AT or NTT

and most people prefer a yellow fish over a silver fish

I'm just saying.... If small ntt don't do well in home aquaria, and if yuk know that why risk it?
The buyer forced themselves into buying it. I'll never buy small ntt again.

My 8 inch ntt is doing fantastic.
;)

Well my little 3'' NTT is doing well. When I removed his 3 litte buddies he turned a little aggressive. he is also growing fast.

A lot of peaple said that don't buy NTT at small size like Ade said, but I don't know I agree with that. Last year, I both 8 NTT at 2.5-3.5". They are all still alive and healthy. They are feeding on dry shrimp, arow stick. I feed them once a day. They are at 6-7.5" now. I'll post pics later.

^^^^^lets see them pics...
i got (4), 3'' ntt yesterday....got more arriving in a few days.

Well I just picked up a group of 7 NTT (well at least I think they are) on Tuesday, they are currently burning through feeders. I'll take some picks when they settle in a bit.

Lovely thin V.I.P!
