What is right and what is wrong, how do we know whether or not the words that we think are correct, are really in fact, "right". What dictates a word being correct? English folks probably could say that Americans are wrong. Since America came long after England, should we continue to follow their terminology?
Cigarette would be the wrong word, because they call it a F-a-g there. French fries would be wrong because its really not French. Hot dogs are not made from canines.
...we could even get into pronunciation as well, pretty much all of the Mexican stuff, it's boo-dddee-tho and not ber-ee-doe. Foreign words don't count you say? In that case don't ever pronounce jalapeno with an H anymore then. To attempt is to accept.
