I guess it's kind of funny now so my feelings won't be hurt if anyone laughs but I remember my mother had gone out with some new friends and I was asleep when she returned.I woke up shortly after and I heard what sounded likes strange chanting coming from downstairs.I went down to investigate and the chanting grew louder as I neared its location and when I entered the dining room there was my mother with her friends seated at the table and they were moaning and or chanting what I later was told was a Buddhist prayer.Well as you might imagine I flipped out when I stood there and witnessed the whole scene.I think I screamed out loud and ran back upstairs to my room.

Yes I was,used to be very shy as well and I had never heard of that stuff before that day.I thought they were doing witchcraft or something.
 
When I was about 7 or 8 I saw a camel bite a huge chunk out of a girls head at the zoo and it bled a lot. Didn`t really bother me though, I was more fascinated to see that behavior from a camel.

I`ve been bitten by horses before, the best counter is a short hook to the eye. I still love horses.
 
Stop it you!...My mother loves to tease kids,she gets a big kick out of it.I think I remember her laughing as I tore back up the stairs.
 
LOL. I'd never do that to a small kid.
My family watched that movie "The Hand" when it first came out. when I went to bad that night, one of my older brothers hid under my bed, then just as I settled in to nod off his hand came crawling onto my bed, up under the mattress. I screamed blood murder.
he was always doing crap like that to me.

My uncle pulled a stunt like that back when I was a kid.I was in the kitchen seated at the table,demolishing some plate of food when I look up and notice the door to the basement slowly creep open.First a few fingers come through the opening then the whole hand comes out and before the rest came out me and my plate of food was out of that kitchen.
 
at least you were a defensible position ;-) I always looked under my bed before turning out lights and getting in after that.
my bro used to pull that "through the doorway" handcrawl in dark hallways too.
 
My uncle was a creepy fellow.He used to live in the basement and I never knew when he was or wasn't down there.
