Think I Got Some True Festae?

that last pic says mayan all the way. the other pics do show the y bar but im leaning toward that big eye spot saying mayan.
His Y bar intersects too high imo. Festae Y bar starts lower. Here's one of my Festae females at 2.5" for comparison. The spot on the tail should be above the lateral line whereas yours' is below.
sorry those are mayans, not true festae. for one, the spot is way too big. and two, the bars behind the head. the bars on true festae look more like a "4" as opposed to a "Y" like in the fish you posted.

mayans are the new festae... lol my lfs both of them get true red terrors... but for some reason when i bought them they we picked off pretty bad by one of my fish... never again
Pah, that's minorly annoying but wasn't unexpected, just hopeful when i saw that Y bar (as not seen it on Mayans before). May grow a couple on myself to make sure
