Thinking about a brown bullhead.

Could this stock work as well:

1 firemouth
1 convict
1 Nicaraguan cichlid
6 giant danios
1 striped raph
1 sailfin pleco (grow out)
1 brown bullhead

all the other info is the same

probably overstocked right :(. I'm looking for ca cichlids that have personality but also won't overcrowd the tank since the bullhead is a lot of bioload, any suggestions?

I was asking some people on other threads and they said even the first stock is to much :(. I was also emailing Brian Zimmerman (where I'm getting the bullhead) and I thought, maybe order a sunfish with the bullhead if I have the opportunity.

so help me out here guys fill in the blank on the stock list (don't say nothing, mike :) ).

6 giant danios
1 striped raph
1 sailfin pleco (go)
1 brown bullhead (go)
1 redbreast sunfish
1 fill in the blank, looking for a small 4-6" SA or ca cichlid that isn't scared of people and can hold its own against all the other fish on the list.

No cichlid and sunfish together in a 75 and you need to stay on top of waterchanges because you have some serious bioload going on. Bullheads filthy, plecos filthier

Why not together? I'm defiantly going to be doing 50-60% weekly every week and not miss a single change. So what would a good stock be? I can always get more filtration as well.

i can tell you this, a few months ago, when my bullhead was about 13", he ate a 3" sunfish lol. i got mine at about 6 inches and he has doubled in size in a little over a year. get him pellet trained immediately. when they get older they can eat a pound of shiners a week. they are really neat fish though. There aren't any personable cichlids that would coexist peacefully with sunfish in a 75.

Hmm then forget the sunfish. What would a good cichlid(s) be to go with all the other fish on the list and not make me have to do more than 60% a week? How about the bullhead, danios, raph, pleco, and a single GT? Remember pleco and bullhead are grow outs.
