total rubbish :screwy:

they are great dogs... thick as hell but great charactors:D
they need alot of exercise and training as they like there own way and can be really stubborn but they make great family dogs if raised correctly

and like with any dog if bought up properly and socialized from an early age they will be no trouble with other dogs

if youve got a dobie you'll have no trouble getting to grips with an English bull :D
good to hear..thanks..

those dogs are really agressive, and they are not compatible for other dogs

thats horsesh1t!! u can make any dogs compatable if you raise them right & together. not to say Sh*t dont happened but then again it does with poodles too! i got 2 pits at my house that live together great (and you already kno theyre history). good luck finding one!

and neer was right all bully breeds need a firm hand and to let them know whos boss, if not theylle run all over you!! and theyre stubborn and hard headed!

thanks.. makes me feel more confident..

I grew up with them and am also thinking of getting one here. If you get a really good pedigree they won't be too bad. Don't get me wrong they can be stubborn as they are strong minded and physically. We always kept up strict discipline with ours and they were fine.

They loved us kids and no one could come near people they considered part of the family.

I would suggest a female and starting the discipline and rules as soon as she arrives at the house. Awesome dogs.

so far i located a breeder...with mighty fine pups from past litters.. but they won't be here until late aug early sept... so it will be awhile before i will be bringing any bundle home..lol...

This is good to hear Liz!

I love that breed. I think if I had a choice to get another dog, that would make it in the top5 easily.

Can't wait to hear how it goes. :D
