Julie Tran and her company 916aquatics, are very reputable. So don’t go jumping to conclusions that you got scammed on the very same day you ordered and spreading that notion out there. Contact them if you have any confusion or questions about anything to do with your order. That being said what fish did you order from them? I’d love to see the picture they provide of your fish. They always have some amazing stock.Just order one from them last night . Hopefully it be here tomorrow

Looks good. He’ll gain color back in no time. Not sure of the purpose of lowering the water. He will have to adjust to completely new surroundings and water regardless. More water volume, better water quality so you can raise it back whenever really. Also temp is a bit on the higher end which can increase risk of bacterial infection. 75-78F is a more ideal range imo.I’m back . Take a day off today because the srd fh is coming at noon also . Drove 1 hours just to get the nls cichlid food . He is in a brand new 75 gallon tank . This tank I bought a month ago for the arowana . But seem lost interest in arowana because the fish is not friendly and always jumpy and always need to worried and look out for and will need 200+ gallon within a years . That just too much . So I made a decision getting flowerhorn . Since flowerhorn can stay in 75 gallon for his lifetime and it’s friendly , follow you when you walking by ….. this fh I bought from Julia Tran . Fish came healthy . The color is fading but I just want it to be healthy and have some color , I don’t need it to be bright red …. He is stay in a corner of the tank for now . Also I drop the water to half . When he settle down . Mabe next week I will raise the water to full . Not fan of low water .
After do some research on food . I will STAY AWAY from anything that Asian fh food , even I just bought the $34 grand sumo red , I will not feed him that . Will just stick with NLS , mabe try north fin and hakiri bio gold plus , these are 3 food I will feed him for rest of his life.
my water change will be every sat morning 20-30% . Temp is at 82.9F is that good enough ?
