One trip to the LFS later... ...

I'm down 2 Buettes, 1 mutt cichlid, 2 ornates, 1 retropinnis, and a snowflake eel. But I'm UP one beautiful Nigerian endli, and a pair of Guinea laps, with a request in for one Guinea endli on the next Toyin order.

The new fish are too skinny to show off... Soon as I get them chubbed up a bit I'll follow them with the digicam til they pose EXTRA pretty for you

Perhaps... Perhaps in my mind, the Ansorgii was MY holy grail. And I have her. She's in my bedroom, hanging out, showing off her checkerboard sides to me whenever I want to see her. Maybe to me, she was the final step, and once I got her, I just don't see the point in keeping ones I don't like anymore. And all of you are quite right. If there are other people who will enjoy my fish more than myself, they should have them. And if they aren't my favorites, they wouldn't get the care that they COULD get. So, if anyone in the Dallas area is looking for bichirs, I'm taking the following list to The Gallery:

Are you referring to the lower jaw species that is similar to the buettekoferi? I have a fish thats species isn't entirely known.
