Thinking about selling the 300

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I live in AZ and have an un air conditioned garage, not way besides a chiller to have in there. Also, I really only have my wife to help me move this thing...being it is 1 inch acrylic....it is heavy as hell...

I'll trade you a broken down 540 for it. LOL

Sucks to see you get rid of a tank with such cool dimensions.

jealous! Are you guy splanning on purchasing a home/movign? I would hold onto it! Cover it nice and wait.

A fan blowing across the top will cool it pretty well. Not sure if it would cool it enough. It would be h*ll on evaporation though. I think you should hold on to it for a while and maybe see if it fits into future house plans.

I actually did consider hanging a couple of big fans mounted above the tank for cooling purposes......lol

OH! and I also have a 220 gallon tank with very similar dimensions that I am selling. 5 feet long x 27 inches wide and 30 inches tall, I think that was it...only $100 !

So you can't put a heater in the tank for the winters and a chiller in the tank for the hot summer months while its in the garage? I'm sure you can find a chiller for the tank at a pet store to keep the water from getting too hot during the hot summer months in the garage.
