i agree on the 6 bulb, and although i would advise against bolting it to the lid, as this would involve taking the frame out and producing a poor heat transfer. I would use the legs if you could and just deal with the loss of room.

I don't think I'll have to do any heavy modification to the light, the stands screw to the top anyways so i might be able to use those holes.
use you best judgment. if you can put some space between the wood and metal frame work so you can disapate heat.
let us know how it goes. A pic would be cool two. Also keep us posted with how well you like the light. Looking forward.

yeah that will clear up in time. I like to use a "gravel vac" and suck up some of that fine particle crap after it settles. But thats just me
Woke up this morning and it still hasent settled, what i can see though has a fine layer of dust on it
