thinking of a snowflake eel

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well like i said i would get a small snowflake then later down the road when i have money for a bigger tank ill upgrade thats y i ask about the growth rate on these eels. dont worry it will be a year before i start saltwater back up my cichlid tank is all i have room or right now and more than 55g on my second floor room could get scary but thats y i have 2x10.

Yes I would say just make sure you seal your tank my had escaped early in the morning woke me up out of my sleep I caught in time . Now just gave him a new partner in crime a fbibriated eel he made a quick meal of my blue damsel so watch what you may add to your tank

when I had my hundred gallon I use to feed mine ever day and I had a mexican dragon ele and he could see really good. I kept him in the sump because at night they like to hunt. and i had him trained to feeding out of a net but it is really better to use a feeding stick because theywill bite even in captivity.and they even go on feeding frenzys.

yes i have always been told that the tank should be sealed no matter what size the tank is because even small fish jump and it is important with am eles because they will test the tank aand check for openings in it like where you put your filters in at.

the only thing that my snow flake did not attack when I had him in my hundred gallon tank was the puffer and he was 6and a half feet long when I had my tank cleaner take him out of my tank and traded him in. because he was getting quite costly in food.

yes but if you have a ele that can see that will go after food that will actually chase divers across the ocean floor tan you must have the space for the fish to get away and have the tank space for it because eventually the eles will win out.if it is confine in a small tank space ele are nocteunal and and hut at night time and can get itto almost any rocky place.
