A to Z got a shoal of Ternetzi Piranha about a foot long maybe longer. They want $200 a piece

That is one nice lookin' Piranha you got their - what are you feeding him?

Well I use to feed him tilapia and prawns but lately shes been refusing the prawn. Right now I been feeding her sturgeon meat she seem to like it. I tried giving her a nightcrawler last night only to find it shredded. Kind of a stubborn fish compare to the first month I had her she ate everything that drop into the tank. So basicaly she been chowing on fish fellets.

Yeah, they've had those ternz for forever. They'll never get rid of them as long as they're cramped in that small tank with all those chimples all over their face. People like their fish to look flawless

The fast part is over, Rhom growth REALLY slows down after 6 inches.. Mine is 3 years old and a little under 7 inches. I dont know if its part of their physiology to grow slowly, or if its just do to the fact that they are picky eaters when smaller. Even when he was a ittty bitty baby he would only eat every other day. Its never gotten better He eats about half a shrimp, or piece of fish that size every other day. If I try to feed anymore then that he will completely ignore the food, or take one bite out of it and thats it. Then he wont eat the next day. Best way Ive found to make him eat the most is to feed a piece of food every other day right at lights out.

Ever try catfish fillets? or Bay scallops? My rhom really likes them both, Bay scallops are like the perfect serving size too. I dont feed any beef or poultry aside from a little turkey breast lunchmeat if its been in the fridge too long.
As far as the shynes and boredom...he still pretty boring, but getting slightly better with size. He hates my cat. He will follow the cat back and forth and stare at him no matter where in the room he sits. He hides from the dog and myself. He will attack the glass hard trying to get the cats paws.

I bought a rhom at 6.5" before and in 4 months it grew to 7.2" when I sold it, that's 0.7" in 4 months, the growth does slow down but it's different from fish to fish.
