Jason, which carpet python are you talking about. In this book there are a few Morelia sub species. But the Jungle Carpet Python, morelia s. cheynei, looks bad ass and would fit nicely in the viv, if i made it a few feet wider and taller which isnt a problem. Heres a better question, whats available? This book i have doesnt really tell me if they are hard to get.

Carpet pythons are a predominately arboreal species. They can be pretty nippy at first and do take time to tame down. Everyone I have worked with has been nippy for several months. There are several species of carpets jungles, irian jayas, coastal, centralian and diamonds. I have read the centralians are usually the most docile I have no experience with them so not speaking from experience. The Jungles were the most nippy in my opinion. And the coastals seem to be moderate on their biting. And the Irian Jayas being the most docile from my observations. Then there are the diamonds they are expensive but gorgeous. They are deffinately on my wish list:drool: Hope this helped some.
And I hope it made you happy Jason for chiming in.
