Thinking of buying a SA lungfish

think juvie cost less, that day i saw a LFS here selling 8inch size for only 40$.

they always had the deadly bite, not recommend tankmates, but recently i mixed my SA lungfish with TSN, fire eel, florida gar and two pleco, works perfectly fine in 4 footer tank (120 gallon).

here a pic people keep together, i want to make a combo like this as well in future.

TThe fish on the far left looks like a african lungfish, not a SAL. There has been many successful communities with SAL in them.

Not yet, still looking.
Do they do well with rays? I my reticulated ray into the tank about a month ago.

I had a 2.5 -3 ft one years ago. Never attached tank mates but really stressed them out at night

Well, I'll be setting up another 20l in about a month and I'll probably grow out a little SAL. One more question, the tank has no top, would the SAL jump or try to escape?

I have 2 3ft long SA lung fish and they couldn't be any more friendly in my community tank, it's the African ones you have to worry about!
