yeah a full grown veiled has a death grip from hell.Mine was nice and tame once you got him out but when he got bigger it was hell holding him because of his super sharp death grip, lol.I was just thinking of the tree cuz it was funny how if mine was on my shoulder and I walked near a tree he would reach for it on his hind legs. Can you imagine how fast they would get up a large tree, sheeesh. And yes they love the sunlight, but for noobs always watch them close and make certain their is shade too, they can overheat and croak fast. They will turn dark while cold and wanting the suns wrmth but once they are hot they will color out and lighten up to reflect the suns heat more.Very interesting animals, just take more care than most herps.Stress easier, fall to a bad diet faster, ventalation is more important, they can escape high out of reach if let out, drink from moving water, need larger caging than say a beard or leo, just stuff to think about. They are great, just do lots of homework.I had mine long ago but failed somehow, either too much handeling, not the right ratio of vits or varied enough diet, this was befor I had the net.So just givin you a heads up.
