Hi all,

i am thinking to upgrade my 100G tank to 180G. is there any 180G in 5 footer? or it has to be custom made?

Thank you,
MKD

I wasn't aware of any standard 5 foot tanks. Did some looking and the only thing I can find with a 5 foot width is the 120 gallon extra high from marine land.

120 xH 60x18x26

My lfs has a 200 gallon square tank. Not sure if its custom but i would love to have it as you could house almost anything in it.

Congratulations on making a post with absolutely nothing to do with the original post or subsequent comments.

But a 200 square would be cool.

is there a reason you want it in a 5'

Probably to use a stand he already has. Same reason I bought a 37 gallon. I had a hand made pine stand for a 20 Long foot print.

Oceanic? I'll have to check them out. Hows their tank quality 12 volt?

He wont be able to use the stand as his 5' 100. There is a 5x2x2 150, the 5x1.5x26 (ibelieve) 120.
This really didnt make much since. I meant to say, his 100g is 18" wide so he wont be able to use it for a much bigger tank other than the other common 5ft tank which is a 120. To my knowledge, the other common 5ft tank is a 5x2x2 150

Was just saying most tanks like that would be custom, like a 180 thats only 5 foot. Don't be an ass dude

You made no reference to that whatsoever so how would anyone know?

So whats the footprint of a 5' 100? As I mentioned I've never seen 5' tanks so no sure of the different footprints. It just seemed the most obvious reason to stay with a certain length tank.
