LOL...Nah, we aren't getting out completely, just reeling it in. I don't know if we will ever get back into breeding them, but will probably always have a ray or 2 around. I don't think we could ever quit entirely...maybe we should invent a 12 step program for ray owners. It really is an addiction!! Really hoping someone will buy the whole setup and keep the rays together because they seem to be a happy bunch. :naughty:
 
Good luck! Certainly understandable though. I've cut back on my tanks as well since our family has grown; keep just my stingray tank now.

If we just had a ray or two in a ray tank we would be fine, but caring for breeding rays and pups take a lot more time and Dan & I consume ourselves with making sure each pup is eating and everything is going ok to the point it takes over our lives everytime we have a litter. We considered selling off males or females and just keeping a couple, but so many people are looking to breed rays and these guys seem to be very good at it. LOL So, it makes more sense to keep them together if possible.
 
I saw a dustbin lid sized motoro today, she was 4ft from nose to end of tail and getting on for 36 inches across, she was pregnant and her last litter was18 pups (I saw 8 of them)


I will post up a pic thread over the weekend.....made me think of you guys.
 
Srry to hear your getting rid of your prized stock. They've done so well for you. Pm me a price for everything. I need to get my female deal atleast. lol. Glad your not gettin out totally. Been looking for a ray again. I've had so much fun with the others.
 
Hate to see you go. But Ill tell you what. Im about 8 1/2 hrs from you. Private message me and we can talk turkey. If we can work out a good deal, Ill be glad to take the hole setup off your hands and keep them all together. Ive have Rays now for about 2 years now and doing well. Look forward to hearing from you and seeing what we can work out on price.
 
Before you sell we should have some fun, I will bring my stud jag ray up and let him knock one of your ladies up. Then you can sell everything and advertise one is pregnent with mystery pups LOL
