This could be dangerous

Will do. I'm actually hoping he doesn't have anything too crazy rare that might tempt me too much. Mainly because I am looking for a Endlicheri because that now empty tank I plan to do a matching 3Dbg as the one next to it, then move my ornate into that tank and put an Endlicheri in there with him. If he has something crazy cool/rare then that may throw a monkey wrench into the whole coming home with an Endlicheri plan. I'll let ya know what he has though.

Well the darnedest thing just happened this evening. Somehow all of my pond fish that are inside for the winter (koi & goldfish/comets) somehow must have managed to open the lids to the 120g tank where they were.....one must have acted as lookout and ran over and opened up the lid on the empty 75g while the others waited. Then they must have one by one jumped alllllllllllll the way across the shop and landed in the 75g tank.:headshake

So now the problem is this....here sits the 120g tank with a fully cycled canister filter on it completely empty. Maybe it's just me? but I think the "responsible" thing to do would be to pick up a new poly from the shop tomorrow. You know, just to keep the filter on the 120g cycled :grinyes:
Those crazy pond fish, someone should really keep an eye on them.

I dunno, it seems kind of irresponsible to only have one lone poly in the 120. Might be responsible to have 2-3....
Maybe they will be on sale, you know Christmas clear out...

Good luck with your new responsibilities lol

I would love to pick up 2-3 of them :) but IF I get something tomorrow it'll be just one poly. Christmas shopping for the family was a killer this year so still trying to recoup the savings account from all the shopping.

If I do get an Endi he'll have company in the form of my Ornate very soon. Now that the ornate is actually out and about and more active this past week he seems to be getting a bit "nippy" with the Dels. The ornate is about 11" and the dels are about 10" so not like he can eat them, but I have seen him on more than one occasion in the past week following behind the dels and starting to bite at their fins & tails. So I think it's gonna be time to move him out of the Del/Sen tank very soon now.

My ornateis similar size and is also starting to chew on his tank mates recently. I may have to get rid of him :bs:

Well talk about a complete let down. I don;t think I have ever been in the shop without them having a pretty good variety of decent size polys. So I went today planning on buying myself a birthday gift (B day is Tues). Wouldn't ya know it just my luck, I looked around and I don't think I have ever seen the shop so void of polys. Outside of a 6" weeks & del, and a pair of 3" tiny little guys, that was it for polys. Total bummer :(

Anyway, there wasn't much to snap pics of this time but here's a few of the Ell and lungfish as well as a couple cats.

Thanks Matteus. The hunt for a nice Endi is ongoing :) Just got ahold of Rehoboth on FB a bit ago and he just replied back to me so seeing if he has any decent size Endi right now. Also did find some 10" ones at Exoticfishshop and spoke to him this evening. Would be $115 shipped overnight from there. Not "too bad" but I don't know anyone that has bought from there before so that always concerns me. Anyone here bought from or heard of that place exoticfishshop.com?

Well got tired of waiting for rehoboth to get back to me with a shipping price. If they can't even reply back with a shipping cost then I'm not going just wait around forever. So I just placed an order with that exoticfishshop for one of the 10" Endi :grinyes: I'm thinking it should be here probably Wednesday, I'll share some pics when it gets here and let you guys know how the exp with that shop was. So far it has been good, the guy at exoticfishshop has been right on top of replying back to me, so far so good.

T thefredpit I almost snagged the 7-8" fire eel as well lol. Not the xantic though, but I looked hard at the normal one, but I have heard they can be hard to get to eat so I didn't want to mess with that at the moment. I might end up getting once down the road though we'll see :)
