Just got off the phone with Brian Zimmerman and we discussed his New listing for the Missouri Longear Sunfish. He said these mix well other long ears. It's official, I have to have these in my collection. Look at this:

We have these ALL OVER in Missouri. I'm glad to see some interest in keeping them. Most people around here just complain cause they're adept bait steelers. I've kept them before and they look awesome in an aquarium. I think they are more beautiful than many salt water fish.

Anyone ever tried mixing the Northern, Missouri and LA long ears? I like the colors of all three and would love to try to combine them. Though from what I have read the MO and LA are far more agressive than the northern.
