Been looking for a good site to get sunfish from, thanks for the link. :) Definately some pretty fish for sale, the MO Longear looks as good as a discus.

Time to set up a new tank! :headbang2

I told Brian that he would probably get this reaction about this fish. He also said this particular species has very colorful females too. He said this is the only sunfish that has the most colorful females.

I am going to buy about 15-20 and some Lousiana longears too. The northern are looking nice also.

Now imagine a Northern and a Missouri hybrid. Possible intense blues and reds too. I am not a hybrid fan, but if the fish LOOKS FANTASTIC, I'll take it!!

That wouldn't be a hybrid because they are the same species, lol...

I've purchased from Zimmerman's and have been happy with the fish and service. Keep in mind that the fish you're getting are juevies so it will take several months before they begin to show their true colors.

Bridger I agree they are beautifull, in the James river tributaries they have alot of hybrids that are very interesting to see and catch.

Dreamsofpeace54 It all depends on their lineage, diet and background, from everything Ive heard Brian has some very colorfull breeders.
