but seriously man our numbers are dwindeling.. at any givin time there are in upwards of 60 members on some of the other subforums.. which compared to the 13 that we usually have is an embarresment.. i have a post entitled "if this dont" and its been in the top 3 or 4 posts since it went up.. for the post count its kinda embarrasing.. in the other topic my brandtii was called out by akskirmish, who said that his fish is better looking then mine.. which is all fine but it dawned on me.. why dont we get all the p members with there best pics and have a mini photo contest.. then we can take the winning photo and put it up in the real deal monthly contest.. get some of the other members to realize there is no such predator as awesome as piranha : ) .. its been forever since a piranha won the photo contest were always losing to bichirs and arowanas.. especially when we all know that pound for pound piranhas cant be touched.. and i think its time to let others know that piranhas can be as beautiful as they are feared!!

ha i disagree

Well maybe there are some that are more skilled, but none as fun and cool to keep as piranhas!

And yes, our numbers are dwindling. I guess I haven't really been helping the cause though. I really should become more active on these sub forums.

daboepple.. i must have laughed for 45 minutes when i saw your avi.. well what interests you? i would say check out aquascape and see what type of piranha strikes you as beeing beautiful..then just go from there.. theres alot of choices for a 55

im good with just red bellies i guess im pretty sure you need a license to won them in ny though i used to have a single RB but it ended up dead after a few months after i put it in with my red devil

why dont we say they are trhe baddest mofo fish there is and how they are so dangerous and can skeletonize a cow in minutes...

...wait.. :D

yeah i think alot of people that would be interested in P's asre finding out they are kinda more wussy that they thought so they aren't even trying anymore..

more skilled? at what may i ask lol.. at beeing aggressive? at eating? im kindof confused.. i have owned everytype of fish.. from arows to bichirs to large doviis to large africans.. to dats and mangrove jacks and puffers.. and all of that.. the brandtii thats sitting in the tank accross the room from me is the most stunning single specimen fish i have ever seen.. from outright aggression to pure brute force.. he has dismantled other fish like he was a surgeon.. he is a glass banger hthere are videos of him chasing the shadows of cars that pass by the window.. he has the artillary to make giant fish look wimpy.. the coloration only matched by the asian arow.. very interactive much more then some of the other preds ive had.. i couldnt imagine anyfish beeing more fun to keep then him..

guess im trying to say there is no such thing as a more awesome predator!!!

No offence but lets say this if Ps are o wussy you can come to my place and reach your hand in the bottom of my tank. don't ask whats in it or how many. If Ps are wussy fish you'll have no problem doing that. Heck i'll even throw in some food 6 hours before you do so my fish are feed.

Bet you wouldn't do it.

(no offence just making a point)

I think the photo contest to be entered intothe POTH contest is a great Idea. As for this board not being used this is true. I have joined tis site b/c of this board but since strayed away due to lack of traffic here. So i venture off and spend more time on other sub-forums.
