Attention: All tall tank owners, 21" and up, here is a thread to post some pics of your tanks, and setups. I am about to own a 78x24x36"T 300g and noticed that tall tanks are not necessarily the "IN THING" in MFKeeping, or is it just me. Never the less I think i would be a good thing to see what all the other Tall tank owners are doing with that "wasted height" :-)

Is 21 inches tall?

Love that 3 foot tall tank JC! Nice variety of big fish in it :)

it is 6 1/2 feet tall at the top 18 inches wide and 3 feet tall. I have toyed with many ideas as to what to do with it.

Nice tank to get something going. hopefully you can subscribe to this thread to get the gears rolling. Like Ken says " An empty tank is a Terrible thing to waste!"

i dont think so, but it wouldnt hurt to ask him to do a test fill. my 6x3x3 is also made out of 3/4" acrylic all around with a double layer lip up top which gives me a completely open top, not common with acrylic tanks

TWO WORDs: DEAD SERIOUS!!!! :headbang2

and this is my buddy's 225g the day we set it up. 72x20x36

must be a pain to clean. whats his stock?
he has a monster jardini and several large dats, that pic is old. its not hard to clean. its not like im in the tank everyday anyways. a large extension tube on a python works just fine

I love tall tanks I would love to have a 36"+ tall tank but the price jump is just crazy to compensate for the thicker material. Once you start getting into large tanks, they aren't even affordable to the average income person

JC, what is the height of your stand so i can get a good idea on how tall to make or by mine?
