Most tanks 21" tall and up are 100gallons or more I believe. Even if the aren't a tall 50gallon+ tank tropical community tank similar to matt still looks pretty Sweet with the right setup. Not buying a tall tank for the reason made by matt is like not buying a 50"+ plasma because to many ugly people may be on the screen and the large size will intensify their less than perfect appearance.

What i meant was, footprint wise, it seems like it would be better to buy a long tank rather than a tall tank for more oxygen exchange and more horizontal swimming space
