my big tank is 30", its hard enough reaching the bottom without getting a facefull of water, me being a not so tall guy.

Wish the stand was a bit shorter, I think that is one of the factors in tall tanks. Right now its on a 36" stand, so its almost 6' to the top of the tank.

I use a 4 foot step ladder for my 29.5" 150g. the stand it sits on is 29" tall.

its a pain sometimes, but well worth the extra effort.

the extra height over a standard 24" tall tank makes it look great.

I'm a Tall guy 6'4'' but i plan on investing in a step ladder to help with cleaning. But you guys are right it is well worth the extra effort. I think some people tend to forget fish swim up and down also not just side to side

this is my 220 it's 72x24x30 it dont look that tall since its in the wall

Finally... I am able to post Mine!!!!!! This is my tallest tank My "New to Me" 300 gallon 80"x24"x36" acrylic tank. I put a ten gallon on top of the 300 to give a true to life view of the tank.

I was trying to sell my tank but now seeing this threat, i decided to keep it . This will be my project for this summer. L8' x W3' x H4' (720 gallons)

I am looking at buying a 640gal with simmiler foot print but 32inches deep.
How tall is your stand?
