you can look at it different ways i guess..but as i see it your trapping them which isnt good..but hes also trying to "keep" them away from his children..psh he should be shut down and fined..leave the snakes alone and they wont bite dumbazz

there are much better ways to keep snakes away like MOWING YOUR YARD and picking up debris from around the house. It is that simple people.

leave the snakes alone and they wont bite? HAHA wow ...wait until your just walking in the woods and you accidentally step on one and it bites you. This guys intentions are to protect his family....sorry my family and myself trump a poisonous snake.

this is not going to stop you from stepping on one out in the woods. If anything it will increase your chances of getting bit because you are going to come into contact with the snake when trying to remove it and dead pit vipers still carry the reflex to bite and envenomate a person.

Further more, research shows that most snakes will not bite even when stepped on (not that I would try this) and that over 90% of all snake bites in the states occur when a person is knowingly and intentionally harassing the snake.

This guys intentions are to kill snakes out of fear, it has nothing to do with protecting his family.

A remarkable product that really works! SnakeFence has stopped several snakes in their tracks at my house up on "Rattlesnake Ridge" outside of Nashville, TN!

Classic...move to an area known as "rattlesnake ridge" then try to control the snakes. That person is lacking basic brain function.

As you can see I was responding to the guy who said to leave them alone and they wont bite. They are wild animals Im sorry you can say whatever you want about research, but I wild animal is a wild animal. Im not going to let a poisonous snake stay in or around my property I am sorry....I didnt get to say that I would call a removal company first though....not everyone appreciates snakes for what they are and in MANY places in this country they are shot on site

I understand that people don't like them but this does not mean that you should set up a trap for the mass murder of them. Many organizations offer FREE removal of snakes from your property. Humane and safe.

You are right snakeguy101, I hope they shut this joker down. The problem is he actually thinks he is helping his family or someone else. Now all he is doing is either breaking the law and killing the snakes once they are captured and showing his kids that the laws governing our natural resources are just suggestions or he is going to try and release snakes that have now been provoked and are very aggitated and some of the species could be dangerous. However, after years of arguing with this level of arrogance and stupidity, there is one thing I have learned. Arguing with these ignorant fools is like wrestling with a pig, it doen't take long and you realize the pigs like it.

Who is he arguin with there Rmorrow? I hope youre not talking about me? Like i said I dont condone the killing of them....but the trapping is fine by me (as long as they get a professional to remove it) This guy is stupid for posting that stuff, I mean people complain about videos of rats getting eaten. So yeah its going to make someone mad no matter what animal youre a slappy over.

Sorry, but you don't really know what you are talking about. Snakes don't seek out people to bite. Snakes don't "like" biting people. Snakes don't even like envenomating predators. They'd rather conserve their venom for hunting. Actually, no wild animals like to attack people except rabid mammals... for them, I say euthanizing them on the spot is appropriate... but I never saw a Snake with rabies.

Hey jagd24, I re-read my post to look for the confusion, I thought it was clear I was refering to the folks in the video. Unless that is you, no worries.
