Looks like an extra wrinkly Shar Pei. I've seen these dogs with Eye lifts and Face lifts because the wrinkles completely close their eyes as they get older. But the Wrinkly look always looks better on the white ones IMHO.
 
They look so soft... i wonder how active they are.. does anyone own one?
 
When socialized properly the Shar pei is great. I had to work with one once that suddenly decided it didn't want certain family members in the dining room. It would guard the door and not let them walk by it without barking and growling.

The Shar Pei was bred to be a guard dog so I had to get the younger kids in the family to understand how to claim space. The dog was medium to high energy and skittish of loud noises, (Firecrackers, Bass from stereo systems, thunder) all which was fairly easy to overcome with a kiddie pool and a pot w/ a wooden spoon. After about a week I had the dog jumping into the families built in pool. And from what I know the family still has him.
