is ur avatar supposed to be a Magikarp it looks sick lol

I think it's a FlowerhornKarp? Though I could be wrong...haha. Back on track, I think a lot of people just don't care enough about snakes or reptiles in general compared to mammals because they're in such negative light in almost everything so people think it's ok to abuse them. Books, movies, tv, you name it. I mean you don't ever see Puppies on a Plane...

Lets put it this way i wouldnt do it. but im not trippin on it either

"They came first for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up."

You should "trip on it" because a wrongful act is still a wrongful act, even if it in no way affects you.

Guys, let's keep this civil.

let's keep the thread open, ok?

No prob Miguel

Sadistic notions are quite beautiful when used appropriately, like...right now. Off the point, education will not work because no matter how large, how many times and how effectively, some people will simply be stupid enough never to get over that pathetic stereotype that serpents are evil, disgusting or whatsoever. Some law should be passed (as ridiculous as it sounds) that offers reptiles and amphibians some of the protection that their furry cousins get a whole lot of.

I remember when I was 6

this reminds me of that 7 year old aussie boy who killed some reptiles in a zoo. i hope somebody had fed him to some hungry saltwater crocs...

could not agree more. There is an atavistic fear of snakes that has no foreseeable cure.

I believe it to be connected to the snake, in the Garden of the Eden.

Even people that would not hurt a snake, could not care less if all of them disappeared.

And I am talking about good and decent people, here.
