  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Boydo, Merry Christmas Sincerely. I'm just funning around. Honestly, you truly wouldn't find me that hard to get along with. I'm sorry if I've upset you. I don't think I really did, but I just wanted to clear the slate.

Wait, this is a forum, arguments never end in an adult manner...My world just whent crumbling down.

I say chat to the owner about the aro, at the very least you'll have a great decent conversation, and at best maybe a couple aros. I really doubt he'll part with the asian. That's like owning a porche and thinking you have a chevy, all while being a car guy.

Thanks, I already own a Chevy. I love my Chevy (don't get me wrong), But its his Porche I'm after. I will go talk to him probably today. I have to say this on behalf of my Chevy and the ones of owned in the past; Silver Arowana's still have the most kick butt, get out of my way, LOOK than any other arowana. Still, he maybe tired of the porche lifestyle, and I'm ready to ride.

Well said demjor, Merry Christmas to all monster fish keepers. Is there a Monster in your house?!?!

yeah i sorta have a monster...nothing exotic but i have a 13" florida gar. lol i also drive a chevy! but my uncle has a porsche. glad all got settled!

I've decided that I'm a Chevy man, therefore, for those in the Seattle Tacoma area who want to see this beauty need to drive to Tacoma off the 74th street exit off I-5 there is a Mongolian Grill right next door to the sports authority wich can actually be seen from I-5. It is on the East side of the interstate. In the front window of the Mongolian Grill there is a 14 -16 inch RTG Arowana. A beautiful fish.

I'll have to hit that upnext time I'm out that way. Darn the luck I was a few blocks away just yesterday! :swear:

Boydo, I'm just having fun. If you knew me, you wouldn't think I was all that beligerant. My point I was trying to make to you was, I don't think many people in the world REALLY believe its anything more than a really cool fish. And if they did, well then they are goofy. Some people believe that breaking a mirror gives you seven years bad luck. Just because they believe it doesn't make it true. It just makes them nutty. Or walking under a ladder? This can be cause for caution, but I wouldn't build a religeon around it.

In reference to this whole piece. While you may not believe in their beliefs, nor think that many do, it is a world away. Just because something is not cold hard fact does not mean that people will not blindly follow it. Look at your god. Millions believe in him... It may be superstition, but it is upheld and believed in these countries. I'm glad that you decided not to pursue this, and I hope that by bringing attention to it nothing bad happens to the owner.

That anything bad would happen is certainly not my intentions. I believe by informing MFK of this fish so that they can view it, is hoping that they will do it responsably and just enjoy the fish for a few minutes. If one of them has a mean streak and decides to do something to the owner that would be very wrong. I never had intentions of getting the owner in trouble over this. My posting its whereabouts is only so MFK's that have never seen one, may have the chance. I will say this now, PLEASE go view it just for the purpose of appreciating the fish. It would not be fair to the owner of the fish (or the fish for that matter) to have to suffer a loss when he's put this fish on display for your viewing. Keep in mind, he DID put this thing in the front window so that passersby could enjoy it.
