LOL, I didn't mean like bringing your own steak knife... Just that a lot of people carry a knife everywhere. I used too until I started wearing skinny jeans, now I leave it in the car or my briefcase. Its simply a handy tool to have, and I don't see why I should have to make sure I "check" it in my luggage.
Oh,yeah...you totally threw me off with that one lol.I see your point as I used to carry a knife almost always until I lost and was lucky enough to find it.I vowed not carry it again.
 
I heard that some flight attendants are not happy about this and personally,I don't see why one has to bring any kind of knife aboard a plane.
my husband always has one in his pocket & just completely forgot about it. the bummer wasn't not being able to board with it, but trashing a really good old one. was kind of sentimental & no option to mail home.
"just sharpened it too", he added.
 
That's too bad.There should have been some way for him to send it home....I bet tose agents bring home some nice items that they don't allow passengers to board with.
