Do you have a test kit? You might want to test your parameters. Watch them VERY carefully for the next few weeks, to ensure you do not lose your other guys.

Just FYI, the amount of beneficial bacteria in the water is an insignificant amount. Just worry about transferring media over. I don't think I've cycled a tank in 10 years or so just by moving established media around.

we'll theres your problem new tanks need to be cycled for around 4-6 weeks nitrites and ammonia plus the cold water is most likely what did it

when you filled the tank up what temp was the water?

if you had added cold tap water and the heater didn't start up i think that could have been cold enough to shock a few of them
