This Site is TOO BIG!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
maybe he is taking a break...

Personally I think the bigger our member base, the better our knowledge base. C'mon now, there are 40,000+ members here, there isn't too much that hasn't been seen or done or experienced between all of our members. This is the greatest fish forum I've ever been to hands down! And who cares if the site's full of newbies? I guess you came out of the womb with all the fish knowledge in the world right? I enjoy helping out the new comers, and I'm certainly not the only one here who does. I've been keeping fish for over 10 years and still learn something here everyday. I agree that some posts get pushed down the list and missed because of the activity here, but that's really the OP's fault, all you have to do is bump it back to the top. Pretty simple really. If you don't like our site and our community, please feel free to leave at anytime, but if you have something to offer, some advice to give, then please give it, don't just sit here and b!t.ch about how big our site is. Did one of your threads get ignored or something? Are you bitter?

Oh yeah...I hope he comes back in a better mood.:D

Thats what i told him...he needed some sleep.;)

I'm here due to the diversity and numbers of members. Instead of being part of ten sites... I come to two aquatic sites for info.

At MFK, if I have a Cichlid question, I can ask. If I have a shark question, I can ask. If I have a gecko question, I can ask. If I have a gar question, I can ask. And EVERY one of those areas will have a wealth of "hands on keeping" backing it when the questions get answers.

Where else can you get that?

Why is this thread still open? I mean, I'm not complaining or anything, but normally threads like this get locked.
