This Site is TOO BIG!!

I would disagree, many smaller forums have a single mind track. If you are use to that style of information then I can see why you find MFK not meeting your needs. I would have to say for a site that is monster fish keepers our African and CA/SA sections are pretty good. I know the African side more since I troll it daily...

I do have a problem with people thinking that we are not knowledge able. The members will find or know a lot of answers and in time most if not all will get some answer. They may not like the answer but they will get one. Often people think that if the answer is not what they wanted to hear it is wrong.

You use many examples in your arguments, but if you were to in reality try your examples out you get totally different results. I am bothered that your opinion that you seem to think is FACT is clouding your judgment.

Ask me what to put in a 55...

If i thought my opinion was Truley the correct opinion and that my thoughts were purely facts, than would i post not once but 2x that what i think is purley MY OWN OPINION.

I don't follow the africans forum, but i do follow the Ca/Sa, and while we have some very knowledgeable members, the forum talk does not resemble there intellectual thoughts or sides because there are so many newer members who decide they want to fill the forums with little talk. I see this ALL THE TIME, being that it's the only part of the forum that i frequent regularly.

I don't expect to see experts, but something more interesting would be a nice change of pace.
 
I think this conversation is done, these are all opinions, and no one will gain ground here.

That is great if I had been referring to you... I was making comment to the beginning of the thread, but hey if you want me to comment about your thoughts I can.
 
If you want something more, start a post on it. In a forum you have the control to pick the topics and ignore the ones you do not like. Just an idea to resolve the areas you have mentioned.

Also.. I have one goofy little point to add to this. And im not reading the entire thread to see if someone else said it already but here goes..

If your questions are going unanswered.. please use the search function and see if it has been answered already.. It probably has a few hundred times. History repeats itself.... MFK repeats itself, about every 3 weeks .. a reiterated repetition I might add. Since the knoweledge is being refined daily.

This is not the perfect forum you wanted apparently, but this is a community of opinion givers and trailists who are all entitled to what they have to say. Trail and error works here and so does common sense.
