Shibby I don't check on MFK very often but I guess this MF got me too. (1) FX5 $150 on 8/15. Payed thru PP and bank withdrawal. I will update after I file the dispute. :irked:
 
I finally got word from paypal.
They're not giving me anything!
This is what they wrote...
"After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.

Please know that we will make our best effort to recover the funds in
question if they become available in the seller's account in the future and
will take appropriate action against the seller. Such action may include
issuing a warning, a temporary restriction, or terminating the account.
Keep in mind that PayPal uses a number of factors to determine when to take
action, including member complaints. Due to privacy laws, we cannot discuss
the details of any action taken. We hope you understand our policy and that
it assures you that you are safe using PayPal."
Basically, paypal won't do squat for you.
If they had acted when I asked them to, They may have recovered my funds, but they made me wait 10 WORKING DAYS! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?
By that time, What's the point ???
We're screwed, and that's it.

- filed Dispute online, escalated to Claim over the phone.
 
When I filed a dispute w/paypal online it was immediately escalated to a claim. No word on the outcome yet, but I'll be calling my credit card company tomorrow. All I can say is that paypal had damn well better close the bogus selller's accounts whether they refund any payments or not.

Pay-pal cant do anyhting unless there is money in his account. Dont wait!! call your C.C. now!!

What the hell is the point of Paypal sending this email if they are not giving me my money back...I dont want an email saying that they agree with me I want my damn money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

So you are safe ...... just not against fraud.

"We can't get you your money due to privacy issues... but you can rest assure because we'll protect your privacy, just not your money.... hope that helps you feel better".... Kind of an oxymoron. :screwy:
