Yes, they’re aggressive amongst themselves, I’d just get one and let it have the entire surface

I just tested my tap water and apparently the ph is 8.8. can my selected fish survive in a ph that high?

Depend on who you ask, I’m of the opinion that stable PH is what’s important and PH isn’t something I worry about. But others disagree with that. I’ve never had issues doing things my way though
