What food would you recommend for the tank?I would probably drop the raphael, they are cool looking cats but I had one for years and honestly saw him once every 3-4 months. He's just going to add to bioload and hide all the time. Thats why I have pictus and bristlenose plecs now, so I can see them. You have enough bottom dwellers vying for space and hides already. I wouldn't worry about the plecs or angels being aggressive to the pictus either, the pictus are very fast and pretty tough, but the pictus will likely gobble up any eggs or fry if you we're hoping for babies
Will hujetas prey on the Colombian Tetras?Serpaes stay smaller than the ColOmbian tetras (with O, not U), at about 1 1/4 inch or slightly larger. I have never seen a ColOmbian tetra at 3.5 inches, and most commonly stay at the 2 inch range, less often slightly larger. Mines are not nippy, but they are incredibly assertive, specially at feeding time. I keep a school of them together with a school of regular neons (never a problem for 2-3 years), and with 4 now young adult tiger silver dollars, a bushynose pleco, some cories and ottos.
