Steve Irwin was a legend, had the honour of watching him in action at Australia Zoo. The atmosphere was overwhelming, everything was immaculate so you could see where all his money went and the love of all creatures great and small. We will be visiting Australia Zoo again to re-live the memory of Steve and keep it alive... Rest in Peace Steve. For Terri, Bindi and Bob keep charging on lots of people are behind you...

"It feels like someone just told me Superman was dead..."

I was driving to work on Monday morning and heard about his death on the radio...can't believe it was only 4 days ago.

Feels kinda weird, a bit like when we in the UK were woken with the news of the death of Princess Diana, or Americans hearing of the death of Dale Earnhardt....

You might not have known the person, but they were in your conciousness and, whether you were aware of it or not, they had crept into your heart.

I've shed a tear reading these messages and looking at the links, especially the YouTube videos and the tributes to him all over the web.

My thoughts are with his immediate family, Terri and the kids, and all of us, his OTHER family, who will sorely miss him.

Rest in Peace Steve - Heroes never die...

Steve was such a gentle loving person. My prayers go out for Terri, Bindi,Little Bob and his close friends. It just sadden my heart when I read of his death.
 
Steve's TV work made him a star but his conservation work is what made him respected.
There are far to few people of his calibre in the world, he will be sadly missed.

You brought so much excitement into all the adventures you took on.. no one can ever replace your unique style..
 
Steve was an awesome bloak! He made conservation important to people's lives that didn't even really care about nature and that in and of itself is an amazing accomplishment. Not to mention, he took the evil out of animals like like Crocs and Snakes. Plus, he was a great entertainer! My favorite thing he used to say was "DANGER DANGER DANGER!" He made the world a better place and me and my entire family will miss him.
 
Dearest Steve Irwin,

Being a animal lover since i was young, i really enjoyed watching your show. You are so filled with Passion and love for animals, and i Thank God so much for sending you into this world, into each and everyone's life.

I would have to say that from watching your show, i learnt so much about the animals and their amazing facts, and of cause there is lots more to be discovered.

i wanna just be like you when i go out to work next time, maybe not so daring as to hunt crocodiles, but at least work with animals.

At the end of the day, i guess no words nor amount of tears shred can describe the pain of you leaving us so soon. So i will have wait for the day when i go to heaven, where i can meet you..
