Stve was well loved by all of us....my condolences to the Irwin family....Bindi and Bob have a great father whom the likes of this world had never seen....may they take heart in the fact that he has gone to heaven to be with the Lord.....RIP, croc hunter....

I felt silly for the past few days because I was feeling down and could not stop thinking about his death. I'm so relieved to hear that so many people felt like I have been feeling. I am still in shock and deeply saddened. I'm also a little angry at the injustice of it all. He did so much for animals and brought so much happiness, joy, and education to millions. Steve, you will be forever honored in my heart, thoughts, voice, and prayers. To your family I can only say how deeply sorry I am for your loss.
When my finances get better I will donate to the charity that Animal Planet will be creating in Steve's honor. When I was a very young boy I wanted to be like the great Jack Cousteau.
Steve brought me back to my childhood days of experiencing the love and joy of animals. I'm going to miss him.

Now I know how my parents felt when John Lennon and Elvis died. But at least his legacy can live on through us and his works.
steve has been my idol in a way since i was young , i always loved his shows.
wen steve passed it felt that i lost someone close to me altho ive never met him and i live across the water from him in new zealand.

As much as his sudden death shocked the world, it also brought lots of attention to what he did with his life and the importance of wildlife conservation.
Steve has done what every man hopes to do: live his dream and raise a beautiful, loving family.
He will live on through his children and I am sure he is looking down and taking care of you.
