To the Irwin family,
I can not put into words the sympathy I have right now for you. Steve was a GREAT man who was taken away TOO TOO soon. May he rest in peace! I grew up watching him and have A LOT of respect for him. My heart goes out to you all! :rip Steve

Nature has lost one of their best spokesmen.

BTW I saw a 2ft Saratoga (probably leichardti) in one of the Salt water crocodile ponds a couple of weeks ago. So he was a monster fish keeper.

WOW! I really can't believe Steve is gone. His personality was like no other. His love for all animals was special. He really did love thouse animals and if given the chance today he would probably appologize to that stingray for spooking her. He was my idol, nothing less. The world won't be the same without him. I even feel sorry for the animals at the zoo that he drew so close to because i'm sure they are missing him as well.

I can still hear him saying "Isn't she a beaut", and "kriky", as he picked up some of the most feared creatures of this earth but he still found beauty and a great personality in things most people would run from or get creeped out by.

A little bit of Steve still lives in me i'm sure.

He's not gone he's just away chasing anouther croc.

done alot for the animal community. You have inspired, and made fun the watching and learning of animal husbandry. We thank you for making us feel like a friend.

Steve we'll miss ya. You did so many amazing things i used to love to watch as a child. I was stunned to find out you are gone. Ill miss ya.

we loved him for all he had offered us on tv, and to people he knew would say he past doing what he loved the most, besides his family . he was a great man though i did not know him personly his character brought tv to live. his excitement of animals and love for them will be missed by all .
