When the news first reached me, my heart was torn asunder
I did not want to believe my ears
We had lost Steve Irwin from down under
In the prime of all his years

While keeping in mind that they werent his
He handled dangerous reptiles
He climbed the trees to teach our kids
He trekked on for miles

Not afraid of danger, even when so near it
Though wide eyed with exitement
He loved all life, never did he fear it
He did it for our enlightenment

He used to hoot and holler
As he ran about
"AWWW CRIKEY"
I wish I had a doller
For every time he'd shout that out

Memories of his zoo I keep
I have his signed picture still
My sorrow at this loss runs very deep
But its still on my sons window sill

Way down south where the Aussis play
Beneath the Azure Sea
The Crocodile Hunter has passed away
His spirit has broken free

RIP Steve Arwen, my condolences to his family and freinds. :(

The world has lost the company of a very special man. He will be dearly missed by all who understood his life mission, and those who just happened to be touched in some way by his pure zest for life....everything's life. Eveybody has to die at some point but only a precious few ever actually live.....Steve was one of the few. If there is anything positive to take from this early departure, is that he left on his own terms, doing what he loved to do.
Best wishes to the Irwin family,
Your friend always,
Ryan

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Steve Irwin. Steve was a brilliant man & helped me discover my love for reptiles. There will never be another like him. May his legacy live on forever.

Dearest Terry, Bindi Sue, Bob, and all Family, Friends & Colleagues of Steve:

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I can't help but feel that such a rare experience - a usually non-lethal sea creature's barb piercing the heart - is not an anomaly or freak accident, but the Creator calling one home. Steve must be needed for a very important assignment.

While we animal lovers and conservationists will miss Steve's enthusiasm and entertaining personality and will feel a huge gap where he's been, you have lost a husband, father, son, and best friend. My heart truly goes out to you all!

Crikey, our little black Chihuahua, Bindi (partially named for Bindi Sue), is so sorry too.

Peace and Love,

Saddest Celeberty death ever for me! This kinda stuff usually does not have any affect on me but I was in tears when I heard this. I am very sorry for such a great loss. He was the strongest influence in the conservation of animals that I can think of. He did some very great stuff. STEVE IRWIN WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!!!
