:rip God Bless The Irwin Family at this time of loss! All of you have brought an immesurable amount of love and knowledge for the animal kingdom. Even brought interest where there wasn't any for the previously unloved animals, ie crocs. We are truly sorry for your loss! Steve's demise was a loss to all!

R.I.P. Steve you will be missed ...

I met him once and he was the same guy you see on t.v. full of life and yet such a down to earth person, the type of bloke you knew would be a great mate...he wanted to go rockclimbing with us at the local glass house mountains and I wish we could have but he was always busy chasing crocs and filming docos...I feel like I knew him,as does many others, I celebrate your life and mourn your untimely death

It is truly amazing how one individual can have such a profound impact on a family and the whole world. My children, my wife and I cried when we heard the news. Steve was such an important part of our family. As we watched him together as a family on the television, my five children, my wife and I came to know and love him through his informative shows and energetic attitude. Even now we still grieve for him. We have learned so much. I wish I had the opportunity to meet him. Each of my children want to be just like him. As do I. What a loss to the whole world. Irwin family please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. Grace and Peace be with you always.

What a shocker! He was such a joy to watch. We took our young boys to the theater to see his movie, as we had not gotten our fill watching on T.V. He will be missed greatly by our family and millions of others for sure. I hope that we can all keep his legacy alive as I know he would not have wanted to die in vain. My heart goes out to the family he left behind. I almost lost my husband last September. He had contracted a bacterial infection that shut down his kidneys. I feel so fortunate to be given the chance to realize how important live is and to be thankful for those close to me. I hope Steve's family will be strong and keep his memory alive. He was an amazing man. If we can all do our best to treat others around us with the utmost of respect whether they are humans, animals, or otherwise the world will be a better place and Steve would be proud of us.

Love to all.
